What We Do
Since your child’s needs are unique, and they respond differently to treatment settings, we can work with your child in a variety of locations.
Since your child’s needs are unique, and they respond differently to treatment settings, we can work with your child in a variety of locations.
We consider you, as parents and caregivers, your child’s first and most important teacher, and we partner with you to create an environment in which you and your child can thrive.
In-Home ABA Therapy & Consultations
Our Home-Based Therapy gives children the opportunity to access new learning opportunities in their home. Sessions can be incorporated into your typical family routines, in a specific learning area, one-on-one, or with the entire family. Our programs address a wide range of skills including communication, social skills, daily living skills and school readiness.
School-Based Therapy
We have extensive experience working with both teachers and administrators in developing effective strategies and services for students with various needs and disabilities. Our School-Based Treatment programs give children the opportunity to remain in their natural school environment, while receiving the proper supports they need.
Kindergarten-Based Therapy
We offer to observations, collaboration with staff (teachers, integration assistants, other therapy providers), and therapy sessions while your child is attending the kindergarten. Here we can focus on skills such as taking turns, following routines, transitioning, group responding, and school readiness.
Community-Based Therapy
Community-based ABA allows our providers to meet you in any location where your family needs support. These sessions develop skills and help address challenging behaviors across community settings such as grocery stores, doctors appointments, parks, and using public transportation. These programs ensure that the progress each child shows during therapy
continues when they’re out in the community.
Telehealth ABA Therapy and Consultations
Telehealth ABA offers your family an effective alternative to in-person services by providing ABA therapy via computer, tablet or smartphone. The effects of COVID-19 have been felt globally and continue to change at a rapid pace. Families with autism and related disabilities have additional challenges dealing with disruptions to services. Through a secure and easy virtual meeting, your BCBA can provide direct therapy and parent consultation remotely – helping your child learn new skills, avoid regression, and continue to make progress.

Parenting Tips
At LAB, we take a child-centered approach to our therapeutic interventions. One of the most important aspects of any successful behavior intervention, is approaching the client with compassion and understanding. Their wants, needs, and goals remain the focus of every decision being made. It is our job as the therapists, parents, teachers, and caregivers to remain mindful of this as we all work together to create the best learning environment for your child.
Individualized Services
Our personalized programs reflect that every child is unique, along with your family’s values and priorities.
Individualized services are not only an ethical requirement, but also clinically relevant because each child has their own strengths, skill deficits, unique environments in which they spend time, learning histories, etc.
Strong Collaboration
We consider you a core part of your child’s treatment and work together with you throughout the entire journey, giving you the tools, training, and support you need.
LAB supports team building and collaboration with schools and other therapy providers to ensure successful implementation of behavior interventions.
Data-Driven Practices
We’re data enthusiasts who love the science of ABA and use it every day to guide and fine-tune your child’s treatment- and generate positive results.
LAB Institute incorporates the evidence-based sciences of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Verbal Behavior to employ some of the most successful therapeutic interventions.
